The three glass forms resembling my likeness explore identity as fluid and continually changing. Arranged as a triptych, the sculptures reflect the shifting nature of identity and the ways in which personal experience shapes our understanding of who we are.
Glass serves as both material and metaphor. Formed through heat and pressure, it mirrors the process that shapes identity over time. Although it is solid in appearance, it remains fragile, and mirrors transformation.
By casting my own face, I become both the subject and material. The repeated forms suggest multiple states of the self, and showcase identity not as something fixed, but as something that constantly evolves through experience.
